At Keramik New York we use a Skutt KM-1027 which holds up to 7 cubic feet. We bisque fire to cone 04 (1945 degrees F) and glaze fire to cone 6 (2232 degrees F)

Our studio clay and glazes as well as clay sold in our shop are rated to cone 6 and pre-approved for firing. All other materials need to be pre-approved before firing.

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL CLAY AND GLAZE MATERIALS MUST BE RATED FOR CONE 6. WE DO NOT ACCEPT MATERIALS RATED FOR CONE 06. IT WILL MELT AND DAMAGE OUR EQUIPMENT. You will be subject to fines for any damage caused by submitting improper clay or glaze materials.
